Holy crap,
this company I search for since a while. I had contacted them a few years ago and due to a computer crash I lost the conversation and I forgot the name of these guys.
They are the manufacturers of the Motolanna swingarm.......
I have a teammate who has emigrated to Thailand and is in the Thai racing scene. I will call him and he should contact them.

In Germany, it is a bit different. If you get a parcel from outer the European Union you will get an invoice from the shipping company in front of getting the parcel. You will get the parcel finally delivered only if you pay the customs/tariffs and sale tax in front. But that is handled this way since a few years. Nothing new for us.

Here the official alert when you will send a parcel to the United States per DHL:

Current Notice:
Due to a recent executive order issued by the U.S. government, customs regulations for imports into the United States have changed. Private senders can still send gifts to private individuals valued up to $100 per shipment and documents via regular postal mail to recipients in the U.S. and the US customs territory of Puerto Rico. Please make sure that:
- the total value of goods does not exceed $100 / €85
- the contents of the shipment are clearly marked as "Gift" accordance with U.S. import regulations, or as "Documents" if applicable.
Due to the new U.S. customs regulations, sending gifts valued over $100 or commercial goods via regular postal mail is no longer possible until further notice. In such cases, both private and business senders can use DHL Express via the DHL online postage service for shipping. You can find official U.S. government information on the background of these changes here (Executive Order) and here (Fact Sheet).

Mark,
the Fahron watercooled RD400 cylinder and head were castings done by Fahron(Ron Philips). Around 16-20 kits were built. Even he doesn't know it exactly. I spoke with him at a bike show about this kit over 20 years ago. I asked him if he could do the kits again, he answered he can't do it as he didn't know where the castings are....... One of the very few aftermarket part I never had/still have. Sourced 2 times a kit for sale but both times someone other was faster or had a bigger wallet. He told me that he done the kit as it was not possible to put a TZ cylinder on a RD400 case with 400 crank. At least not that it run properly. These are my 2 watercooled as engines. I have another one with electric pump solution I used in the 80tees somewhere in a box.

Mark,
you are right that a TZ cylinder will fit an ac or TZ case. I have an ac engine with TZ cylinder and TZ waterpump and like you an ac engine with LC cylinders. I think you run this engine with a electric waterpump, mine has again a TZ one. A LC or TZ cylinder fit a RD400 case but will not function proper with a RD400 crank. It will not run properly if at all. Equal what you try you will not get the right timing. Often tried but never achieved.

RD400 crank webs are too big in diameter to fit into LC cases. As @Jspooner and @m in sc wrote, LC cranks are easy available in Europe. A RD400 transmission fit into a LC case but you need the RD shift forks and the cam shift. Clutch is the same anyway. An ac RD250/350 fits physically into the LC case but lacks length on the primary side to run the waterpump. And on the ignition side gas a different crank taper for the ignition rotor. So, a RD250/350 is no option also or needs a lot of modifications.

@all
Sorry I wrote under 80 Dollar. As I looked again on the DHL site it is 100 Dollar. i don*t know if i had it just wrong in my head or it changed again.
Here the official info stated n the DHL Germany website:
Current Notice:

Due to a recent executive order issued by the U.S. government, customs regulations for imports into the United States have changed. Private senders can still send gifts to private individuals valued up to $100 per shipmen and documents via regular postal mail to recipients in the U.S. and the US customs territory of Puerto Rico.

Note: If the worth is stated over the 100 Dollar as private or as company in general and you have to use Express shipping. This Express shipping is nearly 3 times higher as normal shipping. For normal example, a 5kg parcel cost 47,99€ and as Express shipping 142,80€.....

Hi guys,
I sent a parcel to the USA last week through DHL(which is in fact German post). As a private person you get now a warning that parcels with worth over 80 Dollar will get covered with a tariff depending where the goods in the parcel were produced. Even if the worth is under the 80 Dollar you have to state were the product came from. That has never needed to be stated on the custom forms before. As a private you can stated what ever you want how much the worth it, so not really a problem other than you are not covered when a parcel get lost. To be honest, that never happend in the last 25 years is send parcels to the USA. As a official company you obviously can't write on the custom forms what you want.........
I will tell you if it got through as soon the parcel reach the recipient.
