Are 155 mains enough?

Stock RD350 except for Bassani chambers and foam Uni filter. Has a cough or two on hard accel, but pulls pretty good. My concern is that the plugs don't have enough color. Almost white when run hard. But around town, it has the 'burble' around 4 to 5 grand which will blacken the plugs if ran in that range long enough.

I have 155 Mikuni mains in there now. I am thinking I would like to try a step or two larger mains and maybe drop the needles down to see if that may help in both areas.

And I have read that the aftermarket baffles add some power over the stockers. Do they add enough to notice? And how much better are the Bassanis over stock pipes with the aftermarket baffles? I ask because if my stock pipes with those baffles didn't lose too much compared to the Bassanis AND knock down some/most of the around town 'burbling', I may look at that.

But those Bassanis did unleash some noticeable ponies!

Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions? All would be appreciated.

Thank you!

if the lid is on the airbox thats pretty close on the main. def drop the needles one clip and see how it is.
