I had the privilege and honor to meet Vin at Vintage Performance in Sandown NH. Great to chat and see his shop. He is a genuine guy that does great work. He does a lot of work for the 2 stroke community and has the knowledge/data to back up his work.

I need to buy a set of t500 heads from him but am holding off till the chambers show up. should get a set for thevr5 as well... glad you got to meet him.

We talked about his t500 heads and discussed the process he goes through with them. Laughed about the 8 bolts it takes to ge them on and how it was totally unnecessary.

they are so fkn overbuilt its ridiculous.  keep in mind, the t500 was the biggest aircooled 2 stroke street motor ever done at the time, so they were being way overly cautious. it was designed in 66 or so.

Looks like maybe some Kawi cylinders with a reed valve conversion sitting on the bench.  2 out of 3 heads as well.
