New member here, I recently acquired a 76' RD400 and the stock pipes are in pretty poor shape so I am needing some form of replacement.  The bike will hopefully be restored as a very very mild restomod so I was thinking chambers. Based on what I have read here Spec II's are pretty well thought of. Are SPEC II chambers still available? if so where?  Thanks to everyone here who takes time to post on the site I really appreciate the wealth of knowledge shared here.

Thanks

Thank yall for pointing me in the right direction,  If the SpecIIs fall through are the motto carreras being made by someone else now? or any other suggestions?  the JL's are a $$$ and DG's are my last resort as other have said they are just not worth the current price.

thanks again

Moto Carrera pipes are no longer available.
Spec-II is a great performance pipe. In addition to JL, there's also Wicked Performance https://www.wickedatv.com/
I'd stay away from DG, they don't do much except drop weight.

Pretty sure that's Gary's latest number. It was changed a few years ago from the 1313 one

Build to order.

Quite a few places in Japan making pipes still also.
Didn't know Jemco was still making pipes following Jon Easton's retirement. Good to know

Jemco built the chambers for my RD.  I did however take the bike to them to build as I wanted a GP exit and it also has a different swingarm.   You would need to call and ask if they need the bike to build the pipes.  I was satisfied with the price and workmanship.

Thanks again to everyone who posted numbers for Gary.  I got in touch with him and got on the list....he is still in the process of moving but hopes to be up and running before too long.  I made an offer on the NOS Moto Carreras on Ebay but he had already sold them locally and had not taken them down. I have looked at the Wicked pipes and may go that way while I wait, any thoughts out there on them or how they compare to SpecII.....thanks
