Converted all other lights over to LED and wanting to do the headlight as well. Unsure which direction I want to go. Adding just an LED bulb (yes I know the original reflector is not designed for LED).
I'd like to keep the stock bucket

Suggestions?

Are the Auxito LEDs brighter than a 65W H4 running off a Vape?

Some of the acrylic LED projector style upgrades like Motodemic are $600+  . "cheaper" ones are ~$250. They'd better be amazing for that money. Actually I'm not sure they could be that amazing... They look cool. Some require a new bucket. Hard to tell what they'll fit without getting lost on a few forums. The 2 main types are 7" and 5-3/4".

Auxito's are the best LED headlight bulbs that I've used.  Running them in nearly every bike that I own.

I'm running Auxito headlight bulbs in a few of my bikes. Nice and bright and no issues so far.
However, I also run their red LED taillight bulbs and just had a 1157 fail on me (both circuits) after less than a year. It could be an anomaly, or it may be related to the funky MB5 electrical system (they're notorious for killing bulbs). Popped a new one in and working fine so far. And I have others that are still performing well.

I'm going the route Mark suggested.
I think on the old site there was a thread on cutting the headlight out and using JB weld and safety wire to secure a new H4 bulb in the hole. I thought about doing that again as I did on my old R5 but I was on a much tighter budget back then. I'll just do it properly this time.

yeah, that never worked well for actual night riding, i think we all tried it. the incandescent lens just scatters the beam.

This worked out great!!!!
