Thanks Ken, your work is truly motivational. Speaking of attention, I already was asked by my mechanic if I were to consider it for sale. Needless to say I declined but promised to give him first stab if I were to change my mind.

So taking my friend Brian's help (knows fabrication) we tried fixing the left exhaust. It turns out someone jimmied it to a level that even after handful of tries we could make it stop leaking. Got an inspection with State Patrol coming up shortly and I'm afraid it won't pass as it's too noticeable so, a new item to add on.

I was thinking to try out just different silencers but know I'm on hunt for the entire thing. If anyone is willing to part, I'm all ears.

Just wanted to see if you had time to look into this?
Meanwhile, I tried fixing mine with JB Weld but it's leaks.

Third time is a charm. I was FINALLY able to fix my oil tank ..... tested and verified.  :metal:

I still have few minor things to debug:

1. I bought the rear fender from Europe and it doesn't have the reflectors (perhaps the RD350 YPVS?)
So, I need those reflector mount brackets. Problem is I don't see part number listed for it. Any ideas? Or better yet, does anyone have extra pair that can let go?

2. When coming on pipe (Spec II F1 exhaust), I noticed it's a bit twitchy from 4500 thru 5500 rpm but thereon goes fine. I can try changing jets but I was more leaning on switching to individual Mikuni 34mm carbs instead (as opposed to push-pull stock 28s)? I do have them (from an RD350) and cables so all I would need is the angled adjusters and perhaps jets. Thoughts?

Also IMO, the F1 is tad bit quieter than the original Spec II.

3. Last and most annoying is the electrical issue. Switch ignition ON and all works fine (dash lights, YPVS test, etc) but when the handlebar is turned right or left, everything just dies out although the motor stays running if started. It has to be one of the connectors gone bad or loose I guess.

PROBA  BAD WIRE INT HE HARNESS.  btw the stock carbs are 26mm. ;)

the 34s will absolutely work, but i ran pwk30s (koso i think)  and it was razor sharp throttle. 0.02
