so, ive 'done stuff' to this a bit, prob the most notable is putting on a set of stock internal VM28s to experiment with (vs the pwks i had on) and heres the result.

I would imagine, maybe aside from the zeel, this is about the level of most average RD mods.

that's kind of why i did this the way i did. I have to say, its really enjoyable and a nice in-between from the hairy specials and the prissy stockers i have  :dawg:

hope you enjoy the video. its 20 minutes long but the point was to highlight how you can (primarily with ignition) tune around the shortcomings that we all have dealt with on rds especially with stock cylinders and chambers. Im not going to lie, the reeds were a notable improvement as well. but those have been on since i did the cyls

Wow great "timing".  This will be helpful trying to verify my zeel settings on my RD. Still need to figure out the issue at 6000-6400 I picked up after installing the zeel.

follow up. pulled the heads to check squish and just see how it was holding up. hereafter piston wash pattern. that heads bern on for over 2.5 yrs. the squish is a bit broad for my taste, but its been running well. Just fyi.
