All set with some new pistons. I did a compression check before I started it and was 145 on each cylinder. I'm going to check that compression often.  It started right up and sounded fine. Took it for its fist run and it runs much cooler and both cylinders are within a few degrees of each other, better than it has ever been since a restore 12 years ago. I have the HPI timing retarded a bit and now will advance it some for a better mid range. I still have no idea why the ProX rings failed. I sent a email to ProX asking about some identifing marks on the pistons to prove they are really ProX. No reply. No more buying pistons on Ebay for me. Fancy rearsets work good. Total cost for the failure about $700, crank rebuild, pistons, seals and gaskets. The crank was not new but it was well within spec and as the rings and pistons were getting torn up it took out a lower rod bearing.

I think you will be very happy with the Wossners.
