Thanks guys

Still needs a complete rebuild, I have the parts...just need the time and motivation for another stroker build.
But at least now, I have everything I wanted in my head for it, lined up.

Spacers made, and everything works as it is supposed to. Only took about 6 years to get this segment of the project to materialize...

Thanks, hopefully I can get the clutch issue figured out and some serious detailing, and it will be ready to burn some rubber again.

After my first FJ I bought new back in 84 got totaled by one of my friends in 1986, I have been wanting another.
I finally quit thinking and just acted instead ......

After a quick clean up.

Yes, a Merry Christmas to all.
Hope everyone was able to buy themselves at least one present they could use for a two stroke

It's very helpful if your looking at verifying 3XV versions as each has its own serial number range.

Waiting on parts from Megazip so I can get back to finishing the engine up on the RS250. So I decided I'd try and do something productive and try to see what it's going to take to measure up some captive spacers to fit my TZ250 3YL wheels and 4DP rotors...
Front is a 3.5, and rear is a 5.25 replacing 3.0/4.5 original wheels.

Will be interesting to see how their V4 holds up. Hope it gets KTM motivated to getting a street version of their V4 out to the masses.

I have used acetone, and it worked out pretty good, had to run several passes of it through a week to get it 100% out.

The real deal here.
But buying it is probably cheaper than what it could end up costing to get this back on a track though.

One of the best commercially available versions from Suzuki, before the V4 took over.

New tires showed up today, here with my 20 year old tires with 200 miles on them...

Doing the tire swap myself.
Using Continental SuperMoto tires, as they were designed for super light bikes.

Hopefully I'll get more use out of these than the ones I had on the bike when I first attempted to do track days.
